SHARON WILKENING, LCMHC, LMHC, QS (PRACTICE OWNER/THERAPIST)
Sharon received her undergraduate degree from Utica College of Syracuse University in 1998 after completing an internship at Georgetown Law. Sharon worked in federal law enforcement from 1998-2002 while obtaining her MA in Forensic Psychology from Marymount University. Upon completion of her MA, Sharon moved to NY and began working at Lewis County Community Mental Health Center running a youth diversion program for teens involved in the criminal justice system and struggling with a mental health concern.
In 2003, Sharon began working as a full-time therapist and soon after she started in private practice working with depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma, domestic violence, and substance use disorder. She is an EMDR trained therapist.
In 2016, Sharon and her family moved to North Carolina and she began work as the Director of Clinical Outreach for a Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Treatment Center. In 2019, Sharon opened her private practice, Cambrio Counseling.
Sharon has over 22 years in the field of mental health and substance use disorder treatment. She offers a non-judgmental and unbiased perspective, always meeting clients where they are and offers individualized treatment plans. KRISTI FRENCH, LCMHC (CLINICAL DIRECTOR/THERAPIST)
Helping clients find peace, happiness, and success in reaching their goals is Kristi’s focus, using a variety of resources including laughter, mindfulness, education, and understanding.
Helping individuals find their true selves beyond anxiety, depression, and trauma is her passion, as is helping her clients navigate the challenges of life events. Kristi is focused on meeting her clients where they are and tailors her approach based on the needs and goals of the individual in front of her, she feels therapy should be just uncomfortable enough to foster growth without causing more trauma!

AANNA MACHIN, LCSW (THERAPIST)
Anna received her Bachelor of Arts degree in History at Lee University with a specialty in United States 20th Century with a focus on religion. After working within the school system in Tennessee, Anna returned to study at Southern Adventist University and completed her Masters degree in Social Work with an emphasis on Child and Family Advocacy and Treatment working with individuals in community mental health as well as outpatient substance use disorders. While in this program Anna worked closely with her professors as a graduate assistant with the School of Social Work and participated in instructing classes and conducting research.
Upon completing her Masters degree Anna began working in an inpatient setting at an acute level psychiatric hospital for children and adolescents ages 5-17. In this setting Anna worked closely with families and their children addressing psychiatric and behavioral issues often linked to trauma, attention deficit hyperactivity disorders, oppositional defiant disorder, major depressive disorders, eating disorders, and borderline personality disorder.
Anna draws on Bowen’s Family Systems Theory in her inclusivity of the family and context within an individual’s therapeutic process and applies aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectic behavioral therapy as well as mindfulness education and solutions-focused therapy in her sessions. In working with clients, Anna utilizes a strengths-based approach and is passionate about creating an inclusive setting built on authenticity and empathy that is driven by the client’s own individual journey and experiences.

Tim believes that providing an empathetic and nonjudgmental space for clients is essential while simultaneously using evidence-based treatments. This gives the client ability to be totally accepted for who they are while also treating the issues in which the pain originates. ELIZABETH "LIZ" SINCLAIR, LCMHC

Liz completed her Bachelor of Science from Heidelberg College in Tiffin, Ohio and received her Master of Science School Counseling and Community Counseling from Ohio University. She received her licensure as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in North Carolina in 2013 and has worked in a variety of helping roles supporting seniors, adults, children, families and couples. Liz has over ten years of experience working with children ages 5-11 as a school counselor.
Through active listening and dialogue, Liz will gain a thorough understanding of your unique experiences and challenges and how these experiences and challenges have shaped you into the person you are today. She will assist you in identifying feelings and emotions so they don’t get in your way or stop you from being the person you strive to be. He attended Appalachian State University where he received two Master’s Degrees in Marriage and Family Therapy and Music Therapy along with Graduate Certificates in Addictions Counseling and Systemic Multi-cultural Counseling. He has experience in marriage counseling, grief counseling, addictions counseling, and family systems counseling and most recently worked with adolescents with emotional and behavioral issues stemming from a wide variety of diagnoses including trauma, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, borderline personality disorder, depressive disorders, and anxiety disorders. He recently completed level one of the Gottman Method for Couples Therapy and is currently in level two of that training.

Amanda “Mandy” McGill, LCMHC-A (THERAPIST)
Mandy is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate who loves helping clients discover their inner strength. Mandy received her undergraduate degree from Elon University. She worked in mental health as a Certified Peer Support Specialist and then went on to work for her local rape crisis agency as a Community Educator. Wanting to help on the frontlines, she then worked as a law enforcement officer for ten years. While working in law enforcement, Mandy received a graduate degree in Crisis and Trauma Counseling. After leaving law enforcement, she went on to earn a second graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
